Very nice restaurant, the food was delicious.

Today, once again, we ate superbly .... very, very tasty, accompanied by a quality red wine on the recommendation of the waitress. Friendly, relaxed staff with an Italian flair. Particularly noteworthy are the antique rooms. Lovingly and tastefully decorated and not overloaded. A mix of modern and antique. The beautiful and graceful outdoor area invites you to linger even on cool days. Radiant heaters, warm blankets, of course decorated in autumn. Here, too, the guest is suggested: have a good time with us! We'd love to come back 🤗

A very nice evening at the Matisse. Delicious food, attentive friendly service and fair prices. First there was bruschetta (to share), followed by ravioli with porcini mushroom filling in a white wine cream sauce. My companion ordered pasta with salmon and a blind with rump steak. All dishes were well portioned, attractively presented and, above all, tasty. We'll be back 😊

The staff is extremely friendly and nice. In addition, the coffee tastes very good here, but as you know, it's a matter of taste.

There were four of us here. The sweet potato starter doesn't leave much space for a main course. The main courses, whether rollo, chicken breast, calzone or calzone tonno, were good across the board. The staff was friendly and kind. However, the coordination among our colleagues was not good, which unfortunately extended the waiting times for us.

One of the best restaurants in Bremen !! Very tasty food, nice ambience and really good service. The noodles are special, everything is made fresh. We were 4 people and everyone was really excited. We will be back definitely. Without hesitation, we can recommend this restaurant. 🤤🤙🏻🥳

I can only agree! The quality of the food is great (we were there with five people) - starters and main courses TOP. The service was very nice and extremely good at it. All in all, you can only recommend the restaurant🍀👌🍀

Catastrophe. Worst restaurant experience I've ever had. Ordered and tried a "devilish pizza" and it tasted like fish even though there was no fish in it. When asked, why does it taste like fish? No Answer. I wonder why someone said to me: "takes 5-10 minutes longer than normal" even though nothing was going on. We told the employee that we would report it to the health department, to which he replied: "And why should the health department be interested?" If you still have questions about whether you should go to this restaurant, you should have answered them. Health department will be informed on Monday. Otherwise we ordered to be picked up (my wife and I) and rode our bikes there and back for half an hour. So we actually invested almost an hour of work to return the pizza ... Not that one thinks we were nagging around while sitting.

I visited this restaurant last weekend with a couple of my colleagues and we had a great time ! Lovely staff and delicious food !! We shared two plates of bruschetta and I had the Salad Matisse as my main course. Everything tasted fresh and the summer garden provides a great ambience. We will go again for sure.

Unfortunately there was a broken glass in my meal. The service only had the idea to deliver the same dish again. Despite my advice that I am no longer hungry. The mistake didn't seem to matter to them or was dismissed as "can happen".

The Matisse is a very cute, French-style restaurant. Especially in summer you can sit outside wonderfully, even during Corona times there is enough space between the tables. It could be tight inside, but it's still very cozy. Now for dinner, I always order the pizza with the green sauce. The pizza has a thin batter and is very well topped, very tasty! We have been eating there for several years, but this time the pizza was even more topped with tomato sauce, I like that very much and that's why I give it a clear 1 * rating. A delicious ice cream always rounds off the evening at sunset. The service is always very friendly and very quick. A clear recommendation in the Horn district of Bremen!

Went there with a group of friends last week. The atmosphere is really nice and homey and the service is friendly as well. Most of us ordered pizzas and they were super tasty and the ingredients were fresh, too! It was an overall great experience and I definitely would recommend for an affordable dinner with friends!

Was the last year better (in terms of staff so the waiter), but still nothing to complain about!

Excellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices and really decent food and at affordable prices. What I can say for sure is that, Matisse is one the top best restaurants in the north Europe!!!!!!  which you should not miss it. We will come back Matisse :)

OK but not great Home made spaghetti aren't really Italian style. There are better Italian places in town. Also very loud, makes it difficult to talk.

I always like to go here. Nice service and great food with a fair value for money. Special requests are fulfilled. In any case, I can only recommend.

I fly to Bremen every now and again to visit one of my old uni friends and it has become a tradition to eat at this restaurant every time I'm here. The pizzas and casseroles are deliciously comforting and the service is very kind as well. Highly recommend!

I visited this restaurant with my fellow students from Spain. The environment of the restaurant was very comfortable and the service was great as well. I ordered a vegetarian pizza and it was very tasty.. the wine selection was also very diverse!

The food is really awful, nothing was cooked properly. I had a Rollo which was full of raw tasteless vegetables. The pizza is uneatable cause you basically have raw dough.

Nice atmosphere, attentive waiters. I was glad that I came here. For food as expected - fresh and tasted. Well done boys.
